Tyler Denahan

Tyler Denahan joins the Leon coaching staff for 2017.

He is a native Floridian from Boynton Beach and graduated from The Florida State University in April of 2016. He has been working at Auto-Owners Insurance Company since he graduated as a Commercial Underwriter.

Tyler started playing competitively early in high school and couldn't shake the thrill ever since. He joined Ocean Bay Volleyball in 2010 and played in the Junior Olympics 3 years in a row. After high school, he was eager to join the FSU men's club volleyball team as a setter and captain, and he played all 4 years of college.

Playing for FSU allowed Tyler the opportunity to work for the FSU Women's Volleyball team along side Coach Poole, supporting the Noles as they made the NCAA tournament all 4 years. He has also helped a few women train for overseas leagues in the off season. Now, Tyler plays sand for fun and look forward to giving back and becoming a part of the Leon tradition!
